The profile picture collection

Okay,

a couple of nights ago, i had a random thought that went a little like 'i need to practice portraits' ...

I thought drawing them from life would be interesting, but i dont really like asking people if i can draw them... so i'd end up just staring at them, and sketching them. probably making a feeling of awkwardness...

so i decided to draw some peoples profile pictures from facebook!

my favourite one here is probably... the one top left. came out really well, looks quite like the actual profile picture...

bottom left came out okay, everything looks right apart from the actual features of the face. he looks like another of my friends, rather than chris.

And then theres the top right, Marissa ( ) who... looks okay... but the left half of the face came out weird... doesn't really look like her
